WASHINGTON, DC | April 18, 2012 - TAPE announced today it has been awarded a two-year contract to support the Computational Sciences and Engineering Branch of the Computational and Information Sciences Directorate (CISD) at ARL. This work was won as part of the company’s five-year, $400 million research and development indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity program for which TAPE is a prime contractor. The work will be performed at ARL headquarters in Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.

The project team consists of TAPE and ORSA Corporation (also known as Team TAPE) who together will be working on several projects over the course of the contract. Team TAPE will build servers that the customer will use to manage their software development projects. The Team will also support the building and deployment of an electronic document handling system as part of the project. Additionally, they will provide assistance in optimizing software for use on ARL’s supercomputing clusters.
