Accomplished Department of Defense and Industry Executive Will Lead Firm’s Expansion into Select Government Contracting Markets
Kingstowne, VA – TAPE, a fast growing, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned Small Business, which provides an array of government contracting services to federal civilian agencies, the U.S. Department of Defense, and prime contractors, today announced that it has hired Dr. William G. Lese, Jr. to serve as Senior Vice President, Strategic Solutions. TAPE is also known as Technical and Project Engineering, LLC.
Dr. Lese has most recently served as a consultant to TAPE, helping the firm to assess the optimal avenues for growth and the requirements to meet key challenges. In addition, he has been on TAPE’s board of advisors for several years. As a member of the company’s executive leadership team, he will be leading programs in Modeling & Simulation, Test & Evaluation, Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V), Cybersecurity, Aviation and Federal Civilian Support, Logistics, Training, and Education.
An accomplished executive and industry leader, Dr. Lese also served as Vice President of Northrop Grumman’s Information Technology’s Simulation, Analysis, and Training Systems (SATS) operating unit. Under his leadership, the business steadily grew, had revenues of more than $300 million annually, and maintained an extensive pipeline of new business.
Dr. Lese also has 32 years of experience with the U.S. Department of Defense. As a Deputy Assistant Secretary, Program Analysis and Evaluation, he was responsible for analyses of force structure and weapons systems decisions impacting $150 billion of the U.S. Defense Department budget. Dr. Lese also served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as Director, Land Forces Division, Program Analysis and Evaluation, where he was responsible for the allocation and integration of $85 billion in Army and Marine Corps programs.
