Description: We provide support to the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G3/5/7, Training Directorate (DAMO-TR) for: Software Development and Support, Functional Analysis, Logistics, and Staff Support. This contract addresses support to the Training Directorate, which supports the Army's training mission and soldiers.
Available To: Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G3/5/7, Training Directorate, including support requirements for the Army National Guard Bureau, the Office of the Chief of Army Reserves, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Major Army Commands (MACOMs).

Software Development and Support: This task encompasses those actions necessary to ensure that the applications meet the needs of the Training Directorate, including those functional and technical design actions needed to incorporate new technologies and/or functionality, training of designated users in the effective use of the models. Development is currently maintained at Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level 3 standards. Performance measures include the objective of continuing to maintain development efforts at these levels of quality control. The software is capable of supporting new training strategies like the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) model or any other emerging Army strategy.
Functional Analysis. We provide analytical support to the G-3/5/7 Training Directorate; Chief, Army Reserve; OSD and the Army National Guard Bureau, addresses the interface of the training models with other systems and agencies and includes verification of external data compatibility with the training application processes, as well as actions needed to support the user community (Active Component, Army Reserve, and National Guard) with effective analysis in the area of training resource management as it relates to the costing or allocation of costs to units or other organizations.
Staff Support (Headquarters). Provide staff support to the G3, Army National Guard, and the Army Reserve in selected functional areas. This staff support captures requirements to satisfy mission objectives, including activities such as OPTEMPO management, training ammunition management, training transformation, training policy development and analysis, RESET analysis, unit life-cycle initiatives, institutional training requirement and reporting analysis, and other program management initiatives related to meeting training responsibilities at HQDA, the ARNG, and the Army Reserve.
Staff Support (MACOMs). Provide staff support to Army Major Commands (MACOMs) as requested by the MACOM. This focuses upon dedicated support requirements to assist in the use of the training resource applications supported by this procurement. Actions performed include analysis of all inputs to the models and decision processes as well as effective use of the outputs of the models to develop training resource guidance and issues up and down the chain of command.
